Katie Reynolds and her family have called the Lowville area home for the past three years. A native of Harrisville, Kate brings a deep love for the North Country and a strong passion for community-building to her role at Double Play. After spending many years in the Tampa, FL area, Kate, her husband, and their four children are thankful to be putting down strong roots “back home” and closer to family. Kate earned her Bachelor of Science in Education (BSE) in Physical Education from SUNY Cortland, with a minor in Nutrition. She began her career as a teacher and coach in both public and private schools in Florida. As her family grew, her professional path evolved into the nonprofit world, where she organized and facilitated mission trips nationwide, served as a Kids Director at a Tampa-area church, and provided sports, music, and art lessons to children in the communities of southwest FL. These experiences sparked a passion for operations and event management, which she developed further as the virtual Operations and Sales Manager for Handled by Holly Events, a wedding planning and coordination company. And at Double Play, Kate is thrilled to be part of a team that’s passionate about creating opportunities for every member of the community - from youth sports and arts programs to fitness classes and senior events.
